David Jaramillo is a dedicated mental health counsellor with over 25 years of experience, deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional well-being. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he works with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that each person feels genuinely heard, respected, and understood.
David began his professional path in Colombia, where he graduated as a clinical psychologist from the Catholic University of Colombia. After moving to Canada, he completed a master’s degree in counselling psychology at Yorkville University and earned a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy certification from the University of Toronto, a specialization that shapes his practical, strengths-based, and future-oriented approach to therapy.
Beyond his clinical practice, David is actively engaged in the community. He volunteers in parenting workshops, participates in mental health initiatives in London, Ontario, and coordinates “Speaking with the Community,” a segment on Western University’s radio program Connections, extending support and education to a broader audience.
Known for his approachable, empathetic, and grounded presence, David connects deeply with students and individuals facing mental health concerns, relationship challenges, cultural transitions, and struggles with personal growth. His practice combines compassion with evidence-based strategies, helping clients move toward greater clarity, resilience, and hope.
